While I was looking for different examples and different people who talk about this specifically in Colombia, I came across this page. It was wonderful because, even if it doesn’t discuss the historical conception of body image, it shows different examples of what people in Colombia go through. They have incredible podcasts with different people in Colombia who have gone through it. I think that their messages are incredible and one thing that I found very interesting is that the founders Liliana Gaviria and Maria Elvira Tobon also talk about their own journeys and they do not only have the page on instagram but they are kind of a program and it is incredible in my pinion because they have a YouTube channel where they have podcasts with different people who are talking about body image and their own struggles, they also have physiologists that work with them and have therapy treatments for the people who are interested in this specific type of companionship because there are very few resources like this that exist in Colombia nd I think that they have done a fantastic job, I found them in a very weird way because one of the people who they interviewed was Miss Colombia and I follow her and they did a podcast together so I started listening to it and then got more intrigued and went in deeper and looked at more stuff they were doing and one of the things I found most interesting was the fact that the looked at the problems with body image as an algorithm that was already put into our heads as if it is an automatic in the city where we live. This movement started in 2016, so it is 10 years old. Still, looking at the page, it was a process; however, the work they are doing is incredible. They definitely got in there at a moment when it was very difficult to talk about this, even though this is a very saturated movement I could do with it. I will keep working on it and see where I end up, but I am starting to worry because I don’t know what to do. I feel very lost in this process. This is definitely a page for me to look for inspiration and to remind myself that this is a process and that I will keep going through it.
